Andreea is an experienced business strategy professional with over 14 year of experience working for multinationals in telecommunications and information technology. Most recently, she is part of the business development strategy team at Microsoft, shaping strategic partnerships and acquisitions in the space of AI and Intelligent Cloud. She is actively advising start-ups in ag tech and smart cities, particularly around technology choices as well as business models. Andreea has an International MBA from Nyenrode Business Universiteit, Netherlands, where she specialized in Business Sustainability and graduated with a thesis on Orchestrated Collaboration Models for Smart Cities, sponsored by IBM Europe.
Adri Simamora has more than 15 year work experience in finance, covering banking & investment banking industry, management & financial consultancy.
Currently, he is the CFO for the Nordics cluster at Sandoz (a Novartis division), and Country CFO for Novartis in Denmark.
Novartis is a global leader in pharmaceutical industry. As CFO, he is responsible for the whole Sandoz entity’s financials, SoX compliance and strategic direction of the commercial entity.
He graduated with honor in 2005 from Universitas Indonesia majoring in Finance. He continued his journey in 2011 to obtain his MBA degree from Nyenrode Business Universiteit, in The Netherlands.
He then pursued his executive education in 2018 at Harvard Business School in Cambridge, MA, USA.
As finance leader, Adri is proficient in corporate finance & controlling, and has strong affinity towards diversity and inclusion.
He actively gives back to communities in various capacities ranging from; contributing as guest lecturer in various MBA & Master degree program in UvA, HvA and Nyenrode. He has also been invited as guest speaker in varied finance professional forum.
His main professional topic of interest is Finance strategy, business partnering and business/data intelligence.
Adri currently lives in Copenhagen, Denmark. In his free time he likes to be outdoor, city-travels and to have an annual trip visiting his family and friends back in Indonesia.
Berk is a progressive professional who is Business oriented and has Global experience in Telco and FMCG industries. He has worked and lived in 6 countries (and counting..). He is an MBA graduate from Nyenrode Business University and also an Electronics Engineer. Furthermore, he has been the keynote speaker at international conferences and also is the Founder of Digital innovation manager meetup’s (which has members of 15+ multinationals). On his free time, he likes to read and write (working on a novel project), travel the world, play with his cat and go to festivals.
Raymond is an entrepreneur and innovator. His vision is that Innovation is necessary for a sustainable future for companies and organizations. Raymond helps organizations to design, validate and accelerate honest, sustainable and scalable new business models. He also helps to strengthen the innovation power of organizations by sharing innovation expertise and methods, design thinking and technological trends. He does this as a lecturer at Nyenrode Business University, and founder of the venture studio Seedling.studio.
Rosa is a humanitarian worker and human rights activist. After graduating at Nyenrode Business University in 2018, she started volunteering on Lesbos in one of the refugee camps located on the island. Feeling a moral responsibility to do more, she continued working with an NGO as a program officer, and later on as Area coordinator. She has just started a new job on Samos as Program Manager for Still I Rise; an NGO offering assistance, education, and a safe and healing space for unaccompanied refugee children. In both her work and private life, Rosa aims to contribute to- and stand up for a more equal and inclusive society, and she hopes to carry that out in all her future endeavors.
Virág is an international relations student from Budapest, Hungary. She is passionate about discovering the possibilities of a more comprehensive international cooperation on refugees and in tackling climate change.
Désirée van Gorp
Désirée is a professor of International Business, chairman of the International Advisory Board and education committee of the full time MBA at Nyenrode Business Universiteit. Furthermore, Désirée is visiting professor at the Renmin Universiteit in Beijing, China and Politecnico di Milano in Italy. She teaches and conducts research on topics such as Global Sourcing, Offshoring, Outsourcing, New technologies & Innovation and International Business & Diplomacy. Additionally, Désirée is among others member of the supervisory board of Atradius, advisory committee of the World Trade Organization, Chairs Programme and the International Institute of Social Studies.
