Young & Bold Joins Forces with TCS at Sustainathon Europe
Young & Bold was honored to partner with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as a community ally at the 2022 TCS Sustainathon Europe in Amsterdam—a three-day innovation sprint focused on turning sustainability challenges into digital solutions.
Collaboration and Co-Creation
Sustainathon Europe brought together students, NGOs, educators, and business partners, all eager to design technological innovations responding to pressing environmental issues—aligned with COP26 and the European Green Deal TCS. As a co-organizer, Young & Bold helped host ideation sessions, webinars, and the hackathon itself, working side by side with TCS and its vast network.

This collaboration wasn’t just about ideas—it was about people. Young & Bold helped orchestrate design-thinking workshops, mentor teams, and nurture a community of youth passionate about real-world impact. The hackathon emphasized “MIMO” challenges—often overlooked yet impactful issues tied to overconsumption and environmental neglect Young&Bold.

A highlight came when a student team from Nyenrode Business University took top honors—demonstrating how local expertise and global platforms can combine to spark real change AACSB+1LinkedIn+1. This win reinforced our belief that with the right support, human-centered approaches can generate powerful, scalable solutions.
